YOU are Priceless ...

This is a subject that recently has been near and dear to my heart. You dont really know the meaning of love yourself . When you are a survivor of emotional/mental abuse , I heard on the news today that emotional/mental abuse usually leads to physical abuse down the road. I tend to tell others that I had a bipolar relationship with my ex. In front of everyone we were this picture perfect couple , and then behind closed doors once every few months we yelled or disagreed on something. And sometimes he loved to belittle or be honest with me . About certain things , and this would not be in private usually in the company of friends. And it was embarrassing I began to lose my self worth, and what self-esteem I had. I remember one comment I still live with , you wonder why I dont touch you as often?. That seemed to stick with me towards the end, and sometimes it still does. If you are a survivor , of bullying , physical , or mental , or emotional abuse. Or of sexual trauma , I stand with you. These things and these trauma's  tend to stick with us . No matter how much we try to block it out, somehow we are doubting our self worth. But we shouldn't ,  we are priceless in God's eyes we are treasured and loved in his kingdom. There is one specific song that sticks out to me. This song is From : For King and Country its called "priceless"

Mirror mirror, mirror on the wall
Tellin' those lies, pointing out your flaws
That isn't who you are
It might be hard to hear, but let me tell you dear
If you could see what I can see, I know you would believe
That isn't who you are
There's more to who you are
So when it's late, you're wide awake
Too much to take
Don't you dare forget that in the pain
You can be brave, hear me say
I see you dressed in white
Every wrong made right
I see a rose in bloom
At the sight of you (oh so priceless)
Irreplaceable, unmistakable, incomparable
Darling, it's beautiful
I see it all in you (oh so priceless)
No matter what you've heard, this is what your worth
More than all the money or the diamonds and pearls
Oh this is who you are
Yea this is who you are
So when it's late, you're wide awake
Too much to take
Don't you dare forget that in the pain
You can be brave, hear me say

Sisters, we can start again
Give honor till the end
Love, we can start again
Brothers, we can start again
Give honor till the end
Yea, we can start again

Time after time , I see girls who believe others views on themselves, they feel worthless and unloved. That has to be a step , in the journey of finding self love. And knowing that we are priceless , and worth it all no matter what has happened. You are not trash , you are not worthless , you are priceless . I can still tell you its a fight worth fighting and with God by your side. You will soon learn that , You are priceless.

The necklace pictured above is one that I wear constantly and it feels like something is missing , when I forget it in the rush of things. This is a reminder , to me that I am priceless and I am worth it! And I know my self worth here on this earth and with God. That I am to be respected as I am , and that together we can change the view of it all .
